I recent OzB deal (adding SA to their list of cinema chains) was offering tickets from ~ $6 up (depending of movie title), with NOTHING TO BUY.
How much is it for a standard movie ticket these days? $20-$25?
i would say $18-19.50 for adult standard
around $8.50 - $10.00 around Newcastle
These are really good prices. Must be because of all the new competition?
I was paying these prices for a child ticket over 15 years ago.
Makes it worth travelling up from the Central Coast where tickets are double the price, and even more in Sydney.
Around $5 off peak and $8 peak in Singapore. Same movie, same language, more than half of the price.
As movie tickets get cheaper, more people will go instead of waiting for DVD.
They should lower down the movie price.
And cars are 5 times more expensive in Singapore. Same design, same model, many more times the price… pay and pay
For a bargain from SG, consider:
- Coursera's "Intro to Forensic Science" course from SG's Nansang Tech'l Uni (It's better than TV's CSI's programs, IMO)
"Free as in Beer" (as are all of Coursera's courses)
$2 optus sim = $10 hoyts tickets
The downside I found was that it gets mailed to you, rather than a printable voucher.
I wonder if it would include IMAX, Gold Class, 3D etc tickets.
You need to pay I think around $20 still and they post them out to you after you buy them on their website.
Not worth it if your tickets are normally cheaper then this :/Why aren't people Negging this non-deal…?
Content getting mine Free… coke reward labels ;-)
as I typically will only visit there a few times-per year.
Munchy munchy… :p
Still nearly $10 each ticket. Not worth claim and wait.
