Nice, Free Shiping as well. Got one for $139 from MSY last time. Pretty happy with it so far. Worth it for the case.

Actually i take that back, this is the 340 series which have lower Read/Write speed to the one at MSY.

If not for the case then this is actually a pretty bad deal as the 370 model is currently selling for $129 as well at MSY.

  • just thinking to buy one but not sure about the speed of this model. i am new to SSD's. Can someone shed some light on this SSD specs and quality?

Well it is an entry level SSD. The read speed is fine but the write speed is kinda slow at 290MB/s.

I can't really comment about the quality of this SSD but i have a transcend SSD370 and i have been using it for 3 weeks no problem. It even come with a cloning software to make installation much easier.

I use the case to slap in my previous Sandisk Ultra Plus to use as a portable SSD.

Though i wouldn't recommend you buying this deal unless you really also want the case.

I suggest buying the 370 model which is selling for $129 at MSY.
If you prefer a more well known and reliable brand then i would go with the samsung 840 evo. You can get a 250 GB for $142 @ MSY.

      • I have got the MSY deal with 370 model so far so good no problem at all, just the build is more plastic feel.
The Enclosure is the very basic one without any anti-shocking or other features but it is working well with the SSD in a pretty good speed.

  • I know it wouldn't perform as well, but I would honestly much rather a flash drive of the same capacity.

    • I'd rather half a million floppy discs
