    Hey, it's my first time commenting on a deal. I recently bought an Xbox 360 and Gears of War 2 came with it. So I was really interested in the game and I wanted to play the original Gears of War.

    Isn't this a good deal? How come no one commented? I was going to buy this game at JBHifi which is selling it for 29.95 brand new and 24.95 pre-owned. Is 'Game' not a trustworthy store?

      Game is the main competitor to EB Games.. It's highly reliable!
      Bargain deal, just not many people bargain hunting on a Friday night I reckon..

      Game's great. I bought a few other games on offer the last time and was surprised when they arrived the very next day! (Or maybe the day after; either way, I was surprised. XD)

      Not everyone on OzB has an XBox, though, so I think a number would just see the title and skip through it (including myself; only got here via a recent comment :P)…so yeah..

      This is actually worth every cent and more… I'm not a shooter game person generally, but this works!
      Split screen is awesome (although I play on a 3m screen, it must be tiny on a TV, no matter what the TV size!), I haven't played online, I think most people have moved to Gears2 now anyway. (Which is also excellent)

    gears of war is a much better game than it's sequel both in online and campaign, there is still a massive following online as many hardcore players prefer this to no.2

    gears 2 has very bad servers and over complicates things in my opinion, gears 1 was perfect

      If you haven't played GOW then you should - for $14 delivered it is fantastic. Set it up on Co-op and you will have the best couple of hours of co-op joy in a long time.
