I went here for dinner today and noticed Mr Loy's puff at 452 city road in south melbourne are doing a special promotion on their Nasi Lemak tomorrow sat only 9aug .The special promotion price is $5. Usual price is $8.50.

I have eaten there a few times and have tried this Singapore dish. It is good and satisfying, the spicy sambal is nice.
Have a try of the awesome curry puffs too while ur there!

They have very good ratings on urbanspoon. However they limited seating so get in early! good luck !

      Are you sure lah is originally from Singapore? I doubt most Singaporeans would want to lay claim to it. They would say use of it shows you are uneducated. My well educated Malaysian friends certainly say it enough as in "Shopping lah".

  I used to work a few doors down the street until recently and I can recommend their Hainan Chicken, Curry Chicken and the Nasi Lemak. Convert to a meal to get their curry puff which is really good. But avoid going there for a late lunch since they sometimes run out about 2-3 pm, especially on weekdays when there's lots of orders.

  I miss my daily Nasi Lemak. Great Sambal is the secret to good Nasi Lemak. But the Chinese cooks would offer threaten not to serve me so often as it is very fattening.
