Only Aldi-like, MVNO-prepaid, PAYG option with 4G access, is Yatango (Optus network).
Data cost is 5c/MB. Ok, if you use very little data.
Call costs are ok, if make very few calls.
Minimum $10.20 PAYG balance-add.
Credit still lasts for 90 days, I think.
Rolling 'Free Trial' first month offer with 1GB data.
More details in this thread
I you take up the offer and don't 'create your own plan' as the end of the trial-period approaches, when the month ends, your account automatically reverts to PAYG.
Have you looked into vaya?

Postpaid, not prepaid. Different beast.

I'm on the '$2 Days' plan. I read about the '$1 per day + tiny data allowance plan' (40MB) a few days ago.
On the basis of my experience (recharge-dollar-spend-amount vs. maximum days of access), unless favourably clarified in plan T's & C's (when they become available), I would just caution that on the basis of the published promo tables the '6 months access' on the new plan may only apply in the context of the $100 recharge.
We'll see…
Dodo have a $10/mth 1gb data plan that comes with a free Pendo 7" tab IIRC…
