A good deal although I find the St Lucia IGA's fridge isn't quite set at the right temperature and meats don't last quite as long as it suggests on the label. Maybe they've fixed that, but all last year it was like that, so buy the freshest piece you can find.

If your bayside. IGA at Cleveland usually sell 1kg + cut amounts at same price as whole.
Its a pretty good deal. Sometimes they go for $4.99 but not often. I go for the teys bros rumps over the dinmore rumps if you can figure out the branding. You want less blood and white fat. Sometimes you can get a reasonably marbled one. If you are good with a knife you can pretty much split it into its sub prime cuts and get beef for most purposes. Some medallions, a roast etc. I mostly just mince it.
