I like being able to access any ATM fee-free.
Also what's a good term deposit atm?

Thanks, sounds interesting, $200 a month is easy. Do they have fee-free ATMs too?
yes that's the downside, only access to NAB and RediATMs. Also, no 5% cash back on paywave purchases like ING offers
Why bother? You need $1K a month to get fee free ATM access at ING, $2K a month at Westpac to waive the monthly fee (or some other exceptions). Its a mystery why people keep switching banks for a piffling bit of interest or a tiny monthly fee (if you pay one).

It's no mystery, the OP likes the idea of being able to access ALL ATM's fee free.
So for his $2000 a month deposit at Westpac he just gets to access Westpac ATM's for free
For $1000 a month deposit at ING he gets to access ALL ATM's for free.
Exactly, what benefits do I get by staying with Westpac? The 1K is just my salary which must be deposited somewhere anyway. Thanks for all the help so far everybody :)
ing direct often have $50 sign up promotions https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/ingdirect.com.au . if you aren't in a hurry then it might be advantegous to wait for the next one.
Will do, thanks for the heads up!
Recently opened ING Everyday Account and very happy. Web access is easy and I'm instantly getting a 2% reward on every paywave transaction. It might not be a lot but I kind of like getting money "for nothing"!
I currently have savings with ING Direct but no Orange Everyday account. However I'm thinking of moving a bit of money over to UBank instead.
UBank is bringing in some changes to their rates this month which will mean, so long as you have both a saver and transaction account with them (both fee free) and deposit $200/month, you'll earn 4.17% interest. Which is higher than I'm earning even on my ING Direct term deposits!
