Microsoft Live Point 3000 for $46, Cheaper Than Microsoft Market Place

160

You can get 3000 MS Live point for $46 from http://www.coolgadget.com.au/products.php?p=4&cid=49
or 1500 MS live Point for $23

$46.00 for 3000 point is $0.01534 per point and MS sale on marketplace for $82.50 for 5000 which is $0.0165 per point so it’s cheaper than MS Market place.

The shipping is $2 for most states, but you can waive the shipping cost via requesting delivery through email. You have to type in all the details and select NSW for delivery, when ask for billing address, type in your email as billing address and in City filed just said send via e-mail.

Although the next page will show $48, this guy process it manually so will only charge $46. Only issue, he will not be getting the codes till mid next week so you should get the codes by the end of next week. How do i know this? because I have just order mine yesterday :)

  • Not getting the codes till mid next week? Sounds dodgy.

    • Looks like a standard price (not a limited time special), so wait until you get some reports of success.

  • You can call their support number and enquiry about it. They are very helpful

  • Nice.
They also have some good priced games (less than $20) that are good for JB trades.

    • Not a bad price. But no PayPal, so no good for me.

  • +1

Sounds a little dodgy, surprised it got to front page to be honest

  • Good old drop shipping for Chinese suppliers….looks to be making a nice profit as well, especially if most people select the e-mail method

    • Dunno what the deal is but MS Points are region locked, so I doubt these are Chinese..

      • you can definitely get Aus points from Asia…whether or not they work is another story - just like Windows licenses from Microsoft China….cheap as chips, but no warranty….will wait and see once people who have purchased this deal to see how it goes :D

        • I don't think you can, all points cards are manufactured in the US and then shipped to wholesalers in the designated countries. The only way they could afford to sell them this cheap is to buy in bulk from an Australian or New Zealand wholesaler (or get lucky when some store has a % off sale).

The price is likely getting cheaper due to Australian dollar going up.

          • @Wormetti: Microsoft China tends to sell Microsoft products :P

            • @Mazley: I don't doubt that but I'm not so sure they would have AU/NZ region point cards there and if they did, they would probably cost more than buying from the Australian wholesaler.

  • Ok Guys,

I've just got the emails from the shop with a scanned image of the MS Live Point Card, which has the code on it.
I then logged on to xboxlive.com and redeem the code without any issues.
now my xboxlive shows I have 3400 MS Live Points (400 from before and 3000 I purchased from this shop)

The owner was very helpful and friendly. I can not recommend more to anyone who want to buy MS Live Points.
Just remember, it's most likely not going to be the same day services.

By the way, I think this MS Live Points card only works for AUS and NZ accounts.

    • Cool. I haven't got my codes yet but the owner phoned me today to confirm my order and explained that there would be no delivery fee for email and gave me an estimate on stock arrival date.

Yes XBOX point codes are region restricted, so you have to buy AUS/NZ codes if you want to add them to an AUS XBOX account.

  • Not sure where the "dodgy" comments are coming from.
They seem to have a retail store:
