Has been more than a year since buying blurays from zavvi and the hut.
same. I remember the conversion being about 1.5 times the GBP price, now it's about 1.8.
At the same time, JB are always having 20% and '2 for…' deals, so it's just better.

I gave up with Zavvi in the end. Every blu-ray i bought from them came with its blu-ray case smashed up during transport on multiple different orders at different times. Inadequate packaging for that 99p delivery. From Amazon UK no worries never a blu-ray case damaged during transport yet both by Royal Mail but Amazon UK has proper parcel packaging.
Some of these businesses use the cheapest possible parcel packaging which is just not adequate for international freight.
I've ordered from them quite a few times, most recently being this month, and haven't had that problem. I wonder if different AusPost posties can be rougher.

Is there a huge difference between the LOTR theatrical version vs the extended/normal version - extras etc
About 30, 45, and 50 minutes extra each movie plus an hour of extras.
Personally, I have the extended (cost about 50 bucks IIRC) and wouldn't bother with anything else.
