100

Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year awards, experience the complete Skyrim collection with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® Legendary Edition, including the original critically-acclaimed game, official add-ons – Dawnguard™, Hearthfire™, and Dragonborn™ – and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode for hardcore players, and Legendary skills – enabling you to master every perk and level up your skills infinitely.

The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

can someone confirm if this is the legendary edition? I have been waiting for it to drop to 7.5 mark to buy it but not sure about Uplay.

  • Yeh, edit, i am confused myself now, have had confirmed and not confirmed txt's now from 2 different people.
    Currently unknown for sure.

I can add one of each edition to my cart, and it doesn't let me add 2 of either, so i am on the side of descirption error right now…

  • It says it's the legendary edition in the product description.

Is confusing because the description sounds like the legendary edition, but they also have legendary edition listed here and it has the same description… can someone who purchased confirm what DLC is listed in Steam for it?

    • I don't think this will redeem on Steam. It will redeem on the Uplay client only.

      • I'm not so sure.. it's a steamplay game.. I'd assume it HAS to use steam so that you get access to steam workshop stuff.. otherwise what's the point?

        • Oh yes i stand corrected. Skyrim is Steamworks.

    • Yeah true. There must be an error in the product description as come to think of it this can't be the legendary edition at a normal price of $19.95 USD.

I just purchased it and redeemed the key on Steam. Can confirm that there is no DLC listed on Steam. It's the standard Skyrim. Although not bad for $5.

Those saying that it was the Legendary edition is telling fibs.

And yes you don't need Uplay to download it. Just copy and paste the key you're given after purchase and use it to activate the game on Steam and download through there. It activates on Steam as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (UK) and Retail.

      • Thanks hollykryten for confirming

uPlay is the reason I'm not buying any Ubisoft games. I'd rather pay the $12.50 to get this game on Steam.

    • It redeems on Steam. I suppose you're giving uPlay money, but you're not actually using it to play this game.

      • Actually you're buying it from the Ubisoft Shop. But any time you're buying a Ubisoft game you're giving them money.

      • Help. How do you redeem this on Steam. I'm new to gaming so how do i download the game and run it on Steam?
I've purchased the game but it wants me to download UPlay to run it. All of you are saying to use Steam so how do i do this. Step by step instructions would be good.
        Thanks.

After buying it on the Ubisoft Shop it supplies a 3x3 (15 character) retail CD key (shown as Serial Number in the order history). Just copy the key into the clipboard and activate the game on Steam using the key by following this guide.

        • Thanks. Got it to start the download after looking at those instructions.

If you're buying it in 2014, you're probably not that into Skyrim, then for $4.99, it's a steal. Steam workshop, legendary edition, blah blah blah, don't pretend you're interested. Just buy it and play it, you don't really care for the other stuff.

What if they're new to PC gaming, or gaming in general? Seriously, there's loads of reason to get the Legendary Edition - maybe someone likes playing RPGs like Fallout 3 to their fullest but has never played the Elder Scrolls? Or they like to buy a complete game instead of buying DLC down the track (which is always the much better option for Bethesda titles)?

Anyone that bought a key, I'd be making a screenshot of that ubistore page and sending them a rather annoyed email stating that you bought a copy and thought it would be the legendary edition, since that's what it's advertised as..

Who knows.. they make come to the party and either give you a refund or give you a better key..
