Yes, SA Country / WA Country & NT (any) at $50 is pretty steep, but that probably just reflects how the couriers amortise their costs.
VIC, NSW Central Coast & SE QLD certainly seem get the best deals on freight.

I just did a dry-run, and nil freight (to Brisbane) was added up to the point of entering my CC details at checkout…
It would be very rude if freight was added to the order AFTER confirming the $99 purchase!
