  Have you been to the Caribbean Gardens? I got some moccasins from there years ago.
  Also, I've noticed that most people call moccasins, moccasins.

  Can someone explain to me why I would want to part with my hard earned cash for something from originaluggboots vs something from a place like Caribbean Gardens?

      originaluggboots sells 'ugg-slippers' (aka moccasins) for $85. Moccasins are sold at markets like the Caribbean Gardens for ~$20.
      …so, yes. They are cheaper. But is there a reason why originaluggboots cost so much?

      Am I comparing apples to oranges?

    I think so. I trawled through so many websites to find uggs that are a) made in Australia (I checked the australianmade.com.au website), b) use real sheepskin and c) were made by a company that had received positive reviews. This was the cheapest I could find that ticked all those boxes. Can't vouch for the company as my boots have not yet arrived, but from all the research I did they seem legit and a good price for real ugg boots (meaning real sheepskin and made in Australia).

  I've had authentic and non authentic. Not many people would know the difference unless your willing to burn the wool to test it. The Asian stalls are almost comparable to original on major supermarkets. But the market ones are absolutely terrible!.

    Thanks for the review. Always wondered about those Asian stands. The boots seem to be very thick material and pretty cheap compared to the ugg brand.
