Looks like this one can be bought off the shelf though. Big W only offer it as online lay-by, to be collected around Christmas time.

Will take your word for it then. Their website says otherwise, be nice if they'd mention it's in store too. My mate is looking to get this, and Big W is much much closer than nearest K-mart.

the 3DS for $99 makes this look expensive
That's if you could get the 3DS XL for that price. It was literally sold out in most stores within an hour or two.
Yep, those "deals" are usually only available to the unemployed or those very very lucky
Minus the game at full price ($49) makes it a $99 2DS.
Just remember the game is difficult to sell given it's on the SD card (i.e. it's not a full retail box).
The BigW price ends today (9th) and Kmart has this until the 20th.
