Gold Coast car rental is one of frequently asked questions in forums. Due to family living on the Gold Coast and I usually travel there at least once a year. I usually go with Cut Price Car Rental because as name suggested, it's a cheap no-frills car rental place. Over the years I mostly rented their cheap manual Kia Rio or Suzuki Swift, but also hired their Toyota Tarago once to take the entire family out.

They sent me this "Previous Customer Discount Offers" last month which contains this "Get 10% off all year round" discount code. However at the bottom of the email it also says "Forward this email to friends to give them the same discount" so I guess it's not a targeted offer :) Discount code is 78523 that gives you 10% off car rental.

    Dang….should of went and hire with these guys, when I was up there 2 weeks ago..
    Renting the people mover (8seater) with avist cost me over $1000 for 8 days.
    The price with CutPrice is just under $550…
    I'll never going to rent from Avist again..

      The Tarago I hired in Jan 2013 costed me $312 over 7 days. Went with the previous gen one (2006) to save money, but they gave me the current gen as they ran out the ones I booked :)

    Reason,$1500 access which is covered by the bankwest credit card travel insurance which caps at $2250. You need to have booked a domestic flight with the card to be covered.
