Trust me I just got mine for $134.10 at DFO. That site is $149 and when you go in the store you get 10% off in which in total costing you $134.10.
Misunderstanding: The RRP is before any discounts : $649. You wrote the RRP as $149.
I believe you that they are now a further 10% off.

I always thought that Royal Doulton manufactured toilets so the Gordon Ramsay range would fit in due to his potty mouth.
Ah, the hypocrisy - in his (excellent) cooking course series, he spruiks about how you really only need a couple of good knives.
Gordon Ramsey knives, I wonder what they are like when they do their block.

These knifes will scream at you if you f-up your cooking just like Gordon Ramsey…!
Anyone have any idea on the quality of these knives?
No sure with this set, but I have got the 6-piece knife block set from them (ordered after seeing this: www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95304) and it was terrible. The knives came with rust on them and I contacted their customer service, so they sent a new set for free. I then sold the old one set on Ebay and so the second set was free. I wouldn't recommend it as I am using the second set and it didn't last long… now they need to be sharpen. I wouldn't pay $134 for this.
Good knives need to be sharpened… Did you expect them to never need to be sharpened like the $5 deals in kmart/woolies?
Are these throwing knives?
