Which store did you go to?
Castle Hill. By the looks of it other people seem to not have the same problem though! ~
"Delivery Times: Please allow approximately 10 working days for your order to arrive in the mail or to be ready to be picked up in store."
imo you can get it done at bigw, might be a little more expensive, but you can pick them up that day, or at the latest - the following day.
Don't forget to factor in the $2.95 home delivery fee.
50 photos = $0.16 each
100 photos = $0.13 each
200 to 600 photos = $0.11 each
600+ photos = $0.10 eachI'm not voting negative on the deal, just pointing out that until you print 600 photos, the true cost is at least 10% higher than the Harvey Norman advertised cost.
Edit: As pointed out by yingtzee, you can pick up the photos in store to save on the home delivery costs. My apologies - for some reason I interpreted "offer not available in store" as "cannot collect them from the store" though a careful re-reading of the offer again shows me the error of my ways. Ah well, at least I had fun doing some maths for those who are a long way from a store so may be forced to use home delivery…
You can pick up the fotos in store to save on the home delivery fee. HN is using the same printing company as BIGW (fujifilm). The online foto program is exactly the same. The pickup time for both HN and BIGW is also the same. I waited for more than 2 weeks last time to get my fotos from BigW.
really? i usually pick them up within 30minutes. I think i had to wait overnight once.
Wow!
Did they at least give you a comfy chair to sleep in, or did you have to raid the camping section for some gear??
\_/7lol. i see what you did there
@Davo1111: Yeah,, I could just picture you there, patiently waiting through the long cold night, with only the shelf-stackers & floor polishers for company, and once they leave & turn off all but the security lights,,, alone! … waiting for the dawn,, COLD, and ALONE!!!
Sort of like a cross between The Terminal, without Tom Hanks and the dodgy Russian accent; and Home Alone without the cute kid and clutzy bad guys.
…Man, that's what I call a dedicated OzBargainer…
\_/7@TeaEarlGreyHot: I'm sure you could have a blast in a Harvey Norman store overnight.
Big wall of TVs to watch every channel on TV simultaneously.
Stereos for music.
Choice of beds to jump on for entertainment then choose another to sleep in.
If you get cold, turn on all the radiators. Hungry? Grab a wok and make yourself some stir fry.
All with the bonus of many computers for internet access so you can update your blog/twitter/facebook pages with updates as to what fun you're having…
Quality is not bad tho!~
Probably instore printing and online printing is different~ They make u wait if u do online printing.~
Exactly the same offer running at big w….

presumably it's a fujifilm promotion……..
I've used big w a few times, both online and instore…..always been happy with the results
I had some printed during the previous promo & the quality was REALLY bad… would rather pay a few cents more for better quality. Maybe not all stores are bad though.
