I've just received the undies I ordered from topbuy.com.au
and they are fake.
I was wondering if I can open a Paypal dispute if the items are counterfeit?

I wouldn't bother contacting topbuy, go straight to paypal for a refund. This business is well known for selling fakes.
Due to Australian law, you can't return counterfeit products via Aust post either.

WOW, I didnt know they sold fakes, thanks for highlighting. I hate counterfeiters, will strike these guys off my list for any future purchases!
Yeah, it's actually hard to spot though… the fake ones are actually pretty high quality lol - I only knew they were fake because I already have the real ones I bought a while ago.
I'm not letting them take my money because they didn't say the undies were fake, it's pretty much like a scam.
Just as ggood the originals, it is not that you are paying $50 each. I would just keep it.

Yes I do know about those brands being faked but the OP still doesn't make sense.

I’m sorry to hear you have had this experience, unfortunately though Topbuy.com.au are not licenced to resell aussieBum products and these are counterfeit.
We have now taken this on board as we have received similar feedback the last few days and are doing all we can to ensure these counterfeit products are no longer sold to customer who believe they are true aussieBums.Spoke to the people at topbuy and kept getting the same answer….send them back which I have refused to do as they are now known fakes.
Paypal is still deliberating their stance.

I Paid by credit card not PayPal
Topbuy.com.au ignored my emails at first & only acknowledged my complaint regarding counterfeit Aussiebums as I had proof of the a Brand behind the product
but so far topbuy.com.au
Is only talking about a refund sending various messages that they have done it via PayPal and that they don't refund via credit card account ( it's been going on for over 10 days now - like they are hoping I might go away without my refundtake it up with your credit card company to do a chargeback?
Yep paypal also just refunded me
wouldn't topbuy be your first point of contact to try and resolve this?
