I had one of these, it was stolen. I will be replacing it with this same model. Running benchmarking software it outperformed my Samsung Galaxy S3 4G (only just, but is still pretty respectful). With these specs and local warranty it is unbeaten in my view at this price. It was introduced at $199 + Shipping. A nice deal at $179 and FREE shipping. Kogan also stock the cover and screen protectors for this tablet.
Cover is down to $19 (Originally $34) with free shipping

Screen protector is $12 (up from $7??) with free shipping (they have a tendency of folding the screen protector during postage, I have had 5 seperate protectors arrive damaged and it is a real pain to get them sent with proper packaging - you have been warned. Maybe that is why the price increased!).

Don't forget that it has a micro sd slot for storage expansion and it is 3G (not 4G) capable. There are some similar sized tablets coming out of tinydeal that have the newer Octa-core processor and a higher screen resolution (retina competitors)- but all that equates to shorter battery life. The battery life on the Kogan was pretty reasonable, better than any samsung tablets I have owned in the past.

I will also admit that I really like the size. 10" can be too big and heavy and a 7" is just too small. I run mapping software while off road and this screen was plenty big enough sitting on my dash. My Smasung was just too big. And I like that it is a MicroUSB port for charging - it is the same as everything else I have now which is nice.
