Technically, you are not allowed to call that "ice cream" - it is ice confection, as it does not meet Australian standards for minimum quality, especially in the amount of butterfat. (ie it is crap) . Any real ice-cream will prominently display the words "ice cream" on the packaging. Also, it is more than 50% air.

I think Cadbury still sells real ice cream in bigger tubs, but Bulla is the same watered-down swill as Peters. Check the fine print. And avoid anything with the word "creamy"- it probably has less cream.

Mmmmm, one of the best bulk air ice-creams around, at a good price. If you can find scotch fillet which looks anything like that doctored image I'd be giving Ripleys a call immdediately. Good price if it's decent quality though.
