Given the way things are selling out i suggest you don't muck around. If you can deal with or like the colour then these are a pretty good option. Really good reviews for a $5 pair of in-ear headphones. Other colours are listed for around $20.

  • Bought two of these and one of the Pioneers to make the best of the $5 shipping, but just got an email last night saying only the pioneers have shipped. Havent heard back from dicks as of yet. Anyone else have incomplete order issues?

    • I emailed them to find out when it was shipping sicne they have already charged my credit card. Here's their response:

      In relation to your enquiry, please be informed that unfortunately the item ordered is currently on back order awaiting stock arrival.

      We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide you with an estimated time of delivery.

      We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

      • I ended up calling them and they said the reason for the pioneers only being shipped was that the Sennheiser were being shipped from a different warehouse and that they were going out today. haha one of us is being lied to.

          OK I emailed them yesterday so they may have got the stock in overnight. It may also be based on first in best dressed. I know the stock was initially snapped up quickly, went out of stock, then back in stock so it may be based on exactly when you placed the order and how much stock they have available to fulfill all orders.

          As far as I am concerned, my credit card has been charged so I expect my order to be delivered within a reasonable number of days.

    • Not me. Still waiting. I'll give them 1 more week before I'll contact them again.

  • Going by that, I'll have to wait a little while longer since I ordered them, a couple of days later from the ebay store.

  • Still waiting - I think it's a bit rich charging for orders without telling customers when they can expect to receive them.

    • Agree. I emailed them on Monday and got the same reply "it's on back order and no ETA". DSE definitely tried to squeeze this in before end of financial year.

      • And no offer of refund? Kinda looks like these were not supposed to be sold at 5 bucks.

        • That crossed my mind too.

          Personally I don't want the refund. I want the $5 earphones. I'm OK to wait another week or so but if they don't fill the order by then I will request they substitute with the MX-365 white they have on their web site for $37.48. These are identical to what we ordered but white instead of brown.

    • Standard response. Copy and paste as they sent the exact same message to me.

  • Still nothing so I've cancelled my order and happy it was only a couple of $5.00 ear buds and not a $1500 item. But a good way for a company to generate some short term cash flow, advertise stuff at heavily discounted prices and get payments rolling in for orders knowing that they don't have enough stock to fill them.

  • Has anyone actually recieved their order? It's been over a month since they took my money and nothing regarding when the backorder will be filled. I know I can cancel the order and get my money back but I actually want the earphones so don't want to cancel.

    • Just had my ordered refunded - no email explanation. Not inmpressed and I have email Dick Smith about this.

  • D1977, like you I'm wondering if the rest did get the Sennhie's? Did you cancel & have the order refunded?

    • They refunded it on the 30th day with no explanation.
