Hmmm okay seems like I already have an account with a starter edition on it.
Is my best move to gift the battle chest to myself then activate the key later? I'm afraid if I press upgrade now, they'll activate my purchase and key in one go.
That might be the best option, or you could just risk it.
TBH I'm not completely familiar with the current process, I bought a physical version battle chest with BC & WOTLK expansion a long time ago & ever since only renewed my subscription via credit card time & again.

… wait a second. When did they start charging us an additional 10% on subscriptions and store items? I played from 2005 - mid 2012 so it must have changed after that?
Does the battle chest come with 1 month subscription free? Does it activate it as soon as I buy it?
