Is Paypal Here the way to go at 1.95% or is there a better cheaper option? Needs to be something I can take with me so things that link to my smartphone are probably better than an eftpos reader?
Best way to accept credit card payments for face to face transations?

As far as I can tell that Emmy device sets you back $30 a month and you can accept up to $1500 in payments. Assuming you reach $1500 in payments and don't exceed it you're looking at roughly 2%.
On top of that you don't have to pay the $139 for the PayPal device.
The big 4 banks have this facility, no sure about the rate though
You'll have to manually enter customer credit card details etc via smartphone and email the receipt. (cc a copy to yourself)
$2.50 per transaction + 1.8% of sale cc fee.Or use the automated 1300 number to enter the details.
$2.50 per transaction + 1.8% of sale cc fee (optional + 30c for instant SMS confirmation)You can set the 1.8% fee to come from the credit card (i.e. customer pays) or set to come from your sale (i.e. put your price up 1.8% to cover the fee)
Square is launching in Australia soon but charges over 3%
MYOB has a similar device already available: http://myob.com.au/paydirect-1257831727970
How about an eftpos reader that links to your phone
