https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/149576I'll buy when they hit $10
It's heading that way, but unlikely.
All stock would probably be all completely sold out long before it gets any where near $10. Didn't Logitech discontinue production of the ultimate ears range?. That's why these UE headphones have been slashed in price.
I'd say buy this headphone now.
Haha I already have plenty of better headphones, I'm just picking a low figure they'll probably never reach but would be willing to pay just to collect dust. :D According to some, even for this price they are a little disappointing.
Thanks OP just ordered a pair, saw the previous $29 deal but for this price and reviews I couldn't pass it up.
I know. I caved in for 1 final time.
Far out, stop showing me this deal, already bought it for a higher price and it keeps dropping lol
I bought one too - Sometime something just drops to a price point where it is too hard to resist whether you need it or not! Well played dick smith
Ok … maybe that is a good deal for my 10$ voucher I received for the ebay shipping issue (for an item which got cancelled by them … so brings down the price for me to $14.50 … hard to say no!) Thanks OP
Hmm, not sure these are actually worth anymore than this current price really. I've just received these from the previous $29 deal and i must say i'm not very impressed with the sound. Very muddy mix and the usual over emphasized Bass response. Unless you're a bass head, stick with your Apple Iphone ear-buds compared to these!
What other headphones would you recommend for under $40?
Argh accidentally clicked upvote instead of reply.
Koss ksc-75 are great value for under $30 delivered from amazon.
I'm a bit the same. I'm not much of an audiophile but I was still pretty underwhelmed by these. They're great for the price, but I read a review that listed their RRP for $100. Definitely not worth that much.
Bought a pair of UE6000 two weeks ago, have no idea why I'm buying this one….
Maybe to add to your wall of headphones collection?
I already have the UE6000 myself. It's far better than the UE4000.
yep I purchased the UE6000 and they were awesome
and they were awesome
Were? What Happened? Lol
so tempting…i don't actually want these headphones, but i have the UE6000 and UE9000 and feel i need these to complete the set!!!
No, you need a UE3000 or else your set won't be in a mathematically logical sequence
4000x1.5 = 6000
6000x1.5 = 9000You just blew up the internet!
well played, well played
man, already bought 2 of the $5 iLuv ones, do I need another pair? so tempting …
Damn! I got one when it was $29.
Hmm… are these suitable for a 2.5 y/o girl? Suggestions anyone?
Why would a children at that age need it anyway? It might damage their hearing if not controlled properly. I would avoid most consumer technology product for kids at all cost.
Agree. The child should be playing with dolls not using a headphone which might damage ears. An irresponsible parent would give a 2.5 year old girl a loud headphone like this.
Of course I wouldn't put it loud. I would not let her control the volume. But have you ever been on a long-haul flight with a 2.5 year old?
I could get her a crappy fluffy pink "kids headphone", but at this price why not buy something that is good.
Logitech needs a H800 replacement. I need Bluetooth dam it!
Black is out of stock.
Damn..Manage to got the white one..
Yeahhhh just ordered a white pair, whoops!
These headphones are 'on ear' rather than 'over ear' right?
Considering the title, picture and link to the item in question all suggesting that they are over-ear, I suspect that they may not be on-ear.
I've got a pair of ATH-T400 over ear headphones. They don't go over my ears.
I think over ears means they'll go over the ears of a small asian person and be on ear for everyone else.
yes, they are on-ear (supra-aural). OP should update the listing to correct DSE mistake.
meh bought em, better to take these to Europe than my Grado's though my ears won't appreciate it, i will if i lose them!
Okay, I bought my purple one at $29, now it's $24.5 and I'm not happy. So to make it as close to $24.5 as possible, I'm buying the white and black ones to average the price to $26 each, and to complete the set. I must be insane.
You could almost call that investing - demonstrating cost averaging.
why is it so hard to find a photo of these folded up???
does anyone have a picture / better google-fu than me?
Try searching broken ue4000
Don't think they do fold up..
ah right…that makes sense! no wonder i couldn't find a photo! :)
sorry, for some reason i assumed they fold up, like the ue6000!
please disregard!
I'm not the biggest fan of headphones, unless I'm at home.
Does anyone have any advise on the best bang for buck in-ear earphones for $50ish?
I bought the previous Meeelectronics deal for $15 but the rubber things fall off so easily and you end up losing them…
Tbh, i wouldn't recommend $50 headphones…i think the jump to $100 or $150 is the easiest to justify in the headphone world (before diminishing returns start to really kick in).
if you must, then these ue4000 are probably going to be one of the better options out there, if you don't mind an emphasis in bass. Koss Portapro are another oft recommended budget headphone, particularly if you're after something light and portable. Can't really think of anything else of particular note in the sub-$50 price range…
I think he was after earphones not headphones.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm also after some
Ah right, sorry…(i swear it didn't say in-ears before!)
not sure about $50 IEMs…my xba3 cost me $50, but that was a petty awesome run-out deal! :)
damn it :(
This product is currently out of stock.
Don't worry
Try buying the purple or white UE4000 headphones they're still in stock.
If any manufacturer ever produces a set of headphones that need Eneloop batteries, there will be a meltdown at OzBargain…
The Senheiser wireless (RS) headphones already come with Eneloops pre installed… And yes they sound waaay better than these UE things too!
I would hope they are, since they were like 3 times the price.
Uhh… well I bought UE6000s from DS which were shipped last Thursday and still haven't arrived (I'm in Perth). I'm not in a hurry to use them but it's a concern considering no tracking update. Anyone else still not received something shipped via Startrack?
They probably lost them, that what happened to me when I tried buying headphones online from ds. They decided to then put my order on backorder after losing them, despite according to their website they had them in stock, so I had to claim my money back through paypal. Since then I don't really trust ds, especially trying to deal with their lack of customer service.
Hah, well I just called Startrack and the girl tried to find something but had no other information other than its last scan. She said it's strange and she'll mark it as an "investigation" or something and call back. I'd rather just know if I can treat it as lost.
Got mine today
Despatch depot: SYD Despatch date: 16-JUN-2014
Delivery depot: PER ETA date: 20-JUN-2014
Quality Control Code: CLEAN POD on file date: 20-JUN-2014I received my UE4000 today, ordered on Monday. Hope you get your headphones!
Thanks, but I think I can claim them as lost now. Startrack got back to me pretty fast and said they're not sure if they can locate where they're gone and that I should contact the sender (i.e. DS)
As some people have said, the UE6000 poops on this, but for this price the UE4000 are amazing value.
Got mine today and the sound on these things are fantastic. The only let down is the on ear design. This is the first time using an on ear design and I don't like it at all. Very uncomfortable. But for $25 I got a set of headphones that may come in handy.
i'm the opposite ^^ thought they were pretty comfortable but sounded quite underwhelming but for $25 can't complain.
Sweet deal. This must be the cheapest this headphone has ever been. It must be just about the last of the stock if they've slashed it this much?.
