  sorry to sound negative but i dun get why people would pay 800 bucks for a 24inch when u can get 2x22inches for $650 the 2 inches hadly make any differnce.

  I think its a good point that the 22" screens are definitely the best price point for a monitor. However if you want the higher resolution (1920x1200 instead of 1680x1050) then the 24" is the way to go so you don't have to knock out a wall to fit the two 22" screens on your desk!

  1. Dell UltraSharp is much better than most if not all the 22" LCD monitors which are mostly TN-panels.
  2. As winter said, sometimes when you need a higher resolution to work on something big, you just need it!

  You can get 24" for under $600 though — check out the Acer and AOC ones.

  i had a samsung 22" monitor, had to take it back 2 times and finally samsung issued me a cheque because every monitor kept having dead pixels. I eventually bought this monitor from dell when the last time it was on special (i'm sure most of you remember the dell family friends deal :P) This monitor is fantastic i absolutley love it, if your on border line of buying it just do it!
