You can get a dozen or more pairs of undies from China via AliExpress.com for the price of a single discounted pair of Bonds undies, AND the Chinese product will be better quality and last longer. After the shockingly poor quality, and expensive, Bonds stuff I got from K-Mart a couple of years ago, I won't buy Bonds again.

Stay away from the Active Fit Mid Trunk. I go for long walks/hikes on weekends and bought three pairs recently, hoping they'd reduce chafing in the "thigh gap" area. They succeeded in that - by transferring the chafing from the skin side to the pants side, opening holes in two pairs of cotton and one pair of linen/cotton pants.
Trying to figure out how the heck holes could suddenly appear in three pairs of pants all in the same spot, I checked the underwear and noticed the groin area is made with a rougher patch of fabric (the "breathable mesh panel"), which has a mildly abrasive, sandpaper-like texture.
