Looking to start a business and wanting to know who the well priced and reliable web host provides are?
Its just going to hold information, no shopping cart, most likely wordpress.
I've heard of places like Go Daddy etc but I'm told people have had issues.
Thoughts and experiences?

The best would be to rent a dedicated server, hire your own IT staff and monitor it full time.
The best affordable would be with a huge company like godaddy, or even your ISP's paid options (telstra, optus etc). They dont offer a lot of value, but they do offer a phone number to yell at, and some good business uptime promises.
Example; from Internode (bought out by iiNet) probably the two (one?) best ISP in the country.

It's more like millions of $1 enterprises. Don't know why big enterprise would use GoDaddy.
Sorry to say MasterScythe, but I think your advice is the worst I have ever seen. The companies you mention (GoDaddy, Telstra, Optus, Internode, iiNet) are possibly the most overrated and overcharging companies in their industries. Purchase any of their products and you are being ripped off.
The OP has requested business web hosting for a simple Wordpress page. They would be far better off with a shared hosting reseller, preferably one that piggybacks off a known Aussie brand with servers in Australia.
9web do great value hosting with unlimited everything (except disk space which is far more than adequate for a Wordpress page) and have deals on OzB regularly. They are just a reseller of VentraIP which is a great hosting company. Otherwise, go directly with VentraIP (or actually go for their in-house budget brand Zuver).

VentraIP is alright if you have a low traffic site, I have used them in the past yet once your site gets more traffic you need to scale the business Ventra are not the best, I would opt for Amazon AWS have used them on some sites they are very good and have a great CDN.
Take a look at Crucial Paradigm. A good judgement of web hosts is how knowledgeable their support are and they've never failed to answer any of my questions and had some clever people build their infrastructure.
Other worthy mentions are Anchor and VentraIP in that order.
