All 4 Alien movies + Prometheus. Only worthwhile if you're putting another order into Amazon.
All 5 movies are Bluray and are region free.
All 4 Alien movies + Prometheus. Only worthwhile if you're putting another order into Amazon.
All 5 movies are Bluray and are region free.
actually it confirms it
"20th Century Fox | 1979 | 117 min | Rated R | Region free | May 10, 2011"
All that link confirms is that the discs are region a, not region free our region b for Australia.
The original Alien Anthology Box-Set was definitely region free. I can't imagine this bundle would be any different as it includes the same box-set, plus it throws in Prometheus which was region-free when released.
Blu-ray.com has following region info on the Alien set http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Alien-Anthology-Blu-ray/5090/#… (multiple people confirming region B)
For Prometheus blu-ray.com has the following info http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Prometheus-Blu-ray/39475/#Regi… (multiple people confirming region B)
or regionfreemovies.com has multiple entries for Prometheus all region free.
example http://regionfreemovies.com/bluray/Prometheus_3D_%5BBlu-ray_…
Why would amazon be selling region B disks.
Amazon sells region A but a lot of the time they are region free… as confimed on blu-ray.com and regionfreemovies.com, it's really just up whether they region lock them or not during production, some studios don't bother.
Sorry my mistake, you wrote "multiple people confirming region B" so I thought you meant the disks were region B, thats why I wondered why Amazon would sell them.
Fair enough. I think you'd be pretty safe buying this set.
All individual titles in the boxset show region free. So yes, I'm very well sure.
rewatching these films made me think that the first one is the only really good one, and the real chair gripper. Prometheus had so much potential but just got lost.
Great price though if you enjoyed the others.
I have the Alien set pictured(without Prometheus) and it's the best set I have on blu-ray, image and sound is great, doubt you'll get it cheaper these days. I consider this set a must for Alien fans. And includes 2 versions of each movie (not including Prometheus)
