  • I'm looking at the i30 Trophy. Cheapest I can find is $21,779. Anyone seen cheaper?

Let's state auto or manual in this thread, as it makes a big difference.

      • Need to state if trading in, finance or cash buy also. Makes a big difference with some deals.
Its completely pointless negotiating a price for a new car when you have a trade in.

I couldn't agree more. Our lease is almost up, and I figured I could do better than the price we were given by the leasing company on the new one (thanks Ozbargain for letting me know I could even DO that :) ). They'd already gotten $5k off the manufacturer's price, and I was able to get a further $3.5k off their price. I established very early in the discussions that if we were to trade in the current vehicle after we'd paid it out, that they were probably unlikely to even offer what our payout figure was ($3k) in trade, so I took it off the table. I doubt we'd have done any better, even if we had handed over the car.

        • 'i was able to get a further $3.5k off their price.'
          what price was that?

      $21,360

  • Both Audi and Mercedes are doing 4.99% over 4 years. Not sure about the Audi deals but I have 2 dealers confirming the Merc deal is factory funded i.e. not like the Nissan/Toyota deal where they've hidden in the driveaway price.

  • any deals on honda crv?

  • hi.
i'm wanting a i30 Trophy patrol manual (sydney).
the 'maximum driveaway price' is advertised as $20,490 (and they offered me $20,000 for 'fleet').
what sort of price am I likely to be able to negotiate?
I don't know what to aim at?

    • Hi,
I recently purchased the i30 premium model. Which is advertised as maximum driveway price of around 32,000(?). Something around that.
Well I managed to negotiate down to 28,800 with tinting and floor mats. So definitely at least 2k cheaper than the driveaway price suggested.

  • Wanting a 2015 WRX sti premium in manual. Sydney area.

  • Hi,

I've been on the lookout for an EOFY special for a Mitsubishi Mirage, I think the quintessential Ozbargainer's aperfect new car. Just wondering if anyone has purchased one recently and for how much? The cheapest I've seen advertised is currently at north sydney mitsubishi for $11450 drive away. I was after an auto or cvt one though and last time I test drove one the dealer at Sutherland Mitsubishi wouldnt budge from $13500. Would really appreciate thoughts from previous purchasers or maybe people looking for same. cheers :)

  • Whats the cheapest price people have gotten on the mazda 3 sp25 gt or astina?
