Sportingbet - $45 moneyback+$100 free bet for new account with $30 deposit

42

Similar to the Centrebet deal, but not as good, so for some it may be more trouble than it's worth. They require copy of photo ID (e.g. driver license) and proof of address (e.g. bill or statements) too.

For new account with $30 deposit you (may not?) get $45 back with moneybackco. You have to turnover that deposit at least once before you can withdraw. The free bet promotion pic/link comes and goes on the sportingbet website, I am not exactly sure if it's available at the moment, so best check first before signing up. It appeared on the top right corner when I signed up.

You will receive the first $100 Free Bet when your initial deposit is a minimum of $30 and this can be placed on any market available at the time of placing the bet.

If your initial deposit is $100 or more, you will receive a second $100 free bet which can be placed on the NRL or AFL Premiership markets or any Feature Race market available in the Free Bet menu.

Free Bets will expire 30 days after the bet has been awarded if it has not been used (the event can be any time in the future).

You also get $20 free bet for each referral, so of course I would be happy to refer you. It's up to you of course. Please pm me with your first and last name and email for this. It would be ideal if we could daisy-chain the referrals so everyone signing up can get a $20 free bet, maybe leave a comment if you are signing up so the next person can ask you for referral. It's no big deal if you feel uncomfortable about it.

Oh, last but not least, if you have some betting tips, please share. :) Thanks.

  • Would you get the MBC $45 if referred by someone. my guess is that the rebate is only given once, to you or MBC

The value is a net $15 after cost of bet is taken out (although if you win its worth more)

    a Betting tip?

    9 positive votes 3 negative

    • You are probably right about no moneyback if referred by someone.

Losing all bets sounds unlikely, but anyone who sign up must be prepared for that possibility I suppose.

      • Like my tip??

        • heh :) It's not a very good deal in hindsight, probably less votes I think.

My free bet is going to the election, it looks pretty safe.

          • @kcyw: Argh! It never ceases to amaze me what people can bet. Moreover, what make you think that your bet on the election is pretty safe? Oh wait, I guess the discussion on this matter can probably go elsewhere :)

            • @scotty: Yeah, it's probably not. Just thought I share my "tip" that's all. I didn't know we can bet on the election either.

OK, so the moneyback probably won't come through. Well, too late for me, I will survive I guess.

  • With MBC's previous issues with Centrebet I think I'll take these "gambling site with big moneyback" with a grain of salt. They probably have limited budget (like the first 100 sign ups), and by the time the fund gets used up, affiliation network (DGM) terminates the deal, word gets passed down to the affiliated partners (MBC) and then gets updated here — a few more people would have signed up and get no moneyback.

  • Yeah, after being shafted by the Centrebet deal I'll stay well clear of this one. With Centrebet I followed all the instructions to the letter, only to be told in no uncertain terms that I don't have cookies enabled so they couldn't track my registration - baloney… if that were the case then why does my Hotmail, etc. all remember my settings? I have yet to hear about a single person who got that cashback. On top of that, I'm now having to jump through hoops to get back the money that I had to jump through hoops to deposit in the first place. Not worth it.
