  Fair warning, had two of the 128gb M5S models die on me..both about 2 months into use. Meanwhile my samsung is cruising along even after 3 years..

    Thats very unfortunate. Nothing more annoying than a hdd dying early. Can't speak for the M5S but the M5 Pro is reviewed as one of the best SSDs out there and going by reliability, one of the least in defective units. I wouldnt avoid the brand entirely, though I'll admit to being cursed when it comes to Corsair and Asus products.

      Im not going to lie, when i get back to sydney (2-3 weeks) i wont be getting this one replaced, i'll be demanding a refund. Never touching plextor again.

  Best upgrade upgrade of a single component I've ever done.

    this drive is not significantly better and is 2 years old in comparison so i don't think you did poorly at all
