Does anyone know how their cancelation policy works.
It says free cancellation but I think that means "their website" allow you to cancel for free, the hotel you book will still charge you a cancelation fee I think?
Reason I say that is cause at booking page they ask for credit card details for pre-payment and states hotels "may" charge fees if you cancel.
It's free cancellation yes.
Here's an excerpt from my booking:
"Hotel policies:Avoid unexpected charges and restrictions by reading these hotel policies.
Cancellation:
Free cancellation before 00:01 on 12/09/14!
If you cancel or change your reservation after 00:01 on 12/09/14, the hotel will charge you $268.
If you cancel or change your reservation after 00:00 on 13/09/14, the hotel will charge you for the total cost of your reservation.
If you cancel or change your reservation after 00:01 on 13/09/14, the hotel will charge you $450.
All times mentioned are in local hotel time. If you need to change or cancel this hotel reservation, please do so through RatesToGo rather than through the hotel directly."Cancellation policy is whatever the hotel policy is for the booking you make, for the ones we booked there was no option to cancel. Rates To Go do not add any additional penalties or costs on top of what the hotel states.
checked a few hotels in osaka on ratestogo against agoda, in alot of cases they were more expensive even after 20% off
Came up much cheaper than all other sites for some Tokyo hotels.
suchsavings - just watch out coz agoda does not show taxes before you actually check out & pay, this might be 10-20% or even more in some countries :) … bte - I regularly use rates2go, agoda, hotels.com but I always start with hotelscombined and go from there :)
Cheers, worked out at an extra 5% off for the same hotel that I was going to book through HotelClubs visa card discount.
What is the visa card discount?
Go to this website. It explains it all. Generally better than HotelsCombined etc. but doesn't beat the occasional additional discount offers on HotelClub, RatesToGo etc. Cheers.

Do they charge in $AU or $US?
is there an expiry date?
