IKEA Springvale LED Lightbulb $3.99 LEDARE 4.3W 200lm E27 in Bargain Corner. RRP $8.99

30

These are in a big bin along the right hand wall of the bargain corner. Couple hundred of them left. They look slightly different than in the link, so maybe its a new supplier. They seem really well made, better than eBay yumcha ones for sure.

NOTE the specs are different to the link. These are 4.3W not 3.5W and the lifetime is 20000hours not 25000. And these are made of glass and alloy, not plastic like the linked ones. I'm assuming these are an older model on clearance.

They look like this…

  • You didn't happen to see if they were all the screw type, or if there was any bayonet ones in there? (I don't have any screw type bulbs in my house, and the pics on the ikea site are all screw).

    • They are all E27. All you need is a Bayonet to E27 adapter off eBay, they are something like 10 for a dollar. That's what I'm using.

sure, but then your light globe may be too long and poke out of the fitting/not look right

        • Wow, tough crowd.

They are all over eBay, what u want is a B22 to E27 adapter. Like the ones in this listing…

        • I don't think it's that it's a tough crowd. effgee's comment is pretty spot on. I have a few light fittings where a few millimeters can make all the difference between a good fit or a broken light fitting.

Regardless, it's still a pretty good deal, and it is OzBargain, so that's what we're here for! haha

  • 200lumen is that about equal to an old 40 watt globe, not very bright but ok for lamps.?

Edit. Just looked, they are equal to only a 25 watt globe.
Wish there were cheap ones equal to a 60 or 75 watt globe.

Thats the killer with alot of these led lamps. really they are probably only 10-20% more efficient than fluros and are too low in light output. Ive bought a few lately and the 5.5w ones are still a fair bit duller than a 7w CFL. hmm not sure whether its worth it.
