Honestly, from what I can see in the previews, I don't even think the author really knows. Would perhaps be more accurately titled "How to draw very mediocre manga for kids".
If you're looking to start learning or even sharpen your skills, Christopher Hart has some very comprehensive drawing books out there for people who want to draw manga or comics—his flexibility in styles and grasp on human anatomy is great for someone who wants to learn along the right path.
