Melbourne to Ottawa/Montreal Canada

Hi All,

I am looking for cheap flights from Melbourne to Ottawa/Montreal for my parents to visit their daughters (travel during August).

I have seen an old post (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/104952) and checked their recommendation, however nothing is good.

Ideally I want to get something under 2K.

I have checked http://www.flightnetwork.com/ and the cheapest I got was for $2044 CAD.

Anyone help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Good luck. August is high season and you'll pay extra going to the east (opposite side of Canada to Aus). You are also leaving it quite late to book.

Try a search at adioso.com. I did and it showed something around $1.4k but their servers seem to be overloaded at the moment so couldn't get details.
