So I watched the MUST WATCH VIDEO, and its lame as hell.
No surface to grip means of course the drill wont do shit, you're holding it on an angle with no weight.
The knife scratching is an obvious one, of course it wont do anything, there's TONS of 20c platics that wont cut THROUGH with a knife, but will mark.
The hammer is a known useless test, because mobile screens are toughened glass; meaning they'll flex and warp to buggery before breaking.
I literally took to an old scanner, with thin thin thin glass; using a mini-12" 'sledge hammer', followed by a chisel (with hammer) and the plastic chassis broke before the glass did.
I dare you to take that hammer and hit the 'corner' of the phone. Glass goes bye bye.
Ive seen screen protectors made out of every type of plastic out there.
Nothing beats the 'Toughened Glass' protectors (so another layer of glass, over the glass), and all that video did was demonstrate how badly that screen protector scratched.
About all I can say is that at $5 its less of a ripoff than other 'brand name' protectors.
Also, by showing us 'what it can do' you're liable for that level of protection.
