  I am thinking of getting Wii Guitar Hero: World Tour, $228 at Dick Smith…which one is better?

    Go to EBGAmes, they had/have all formats of World Tour full band for $199 currently.

        I got DSE to pricematch EB for the Wii GH:WT. No questions asked. They also price matched the WiiPlay+Wii Remote+Wii Nunchuck for $79 that Myer was offering at the time (and Myer didn't have stock).

        My experience was at DSE Chadstone.

    It depends whether you think you will use the drums and mic.
    If you can get the World Tour Guitar Pack and the Metallica Guitar pack for $88 each, then you get more songs and two guitars to play with. Not sure if the World Tour Guitar Pack is still at $88 tho'.

  Eb's are in the final days of their sale. You should be able to pickup World Tour (game only) for $50 (1/2 price). Both games are very similar, I'd use the track list to pick which one you want. I think World Tour has the more flexible setlist though.

  Unless you have plans to be a drummer and are meticulously careful with your equipment I'd avoid the drumkit. It's very cheaply made and everyone I know has damaged theirs. Mine still works but it's falling apart, I've had to resolder the connections and I only use it for special occasions because it's liable to break anyday now. You can use the wireless Lips mics with Guitar Hero Metallica BTW. But Ebs do have the $199 sale for the whole World Tour kit.

  2 guitars and games for $174 is a bargain IMHO. It was almost that retail for world tour and a single guitar when it came out.
