Copie, fyi, the 840 EVO is comparable to the M500. This is the M550 here. Noticeably faster.

Very little difference at all, random reads on the 840 are much better (which is what your looking at aside from seek speeds.
You're not comparing apples with apples. Comparing the 250GBs, when these are 1TBs, is totally misleading.

The 1tb versions of both drives use the same NAND flash as their smaller counterparts, so its very much valid.

Gotta keep the average postive post count high. I also find it odd that they can get away with reposting SSD amazon deals constantly and yet anyone else that does it gets their posts removed. Clearly some members are protected species.
