I was in canon HQ last night and they are showing their printers out with good prices
for example canon cp910 for $99 with free papers (not sure if its 18 or 80 papers as the music was very loud)
the normal price $119 from their own store
also you can print from their printer any photos you want for FREE
I was going to buy a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens from there (comes with a "free" remote and cleaning kit), but I found the lens by itself cheaper (even with the remote, it is $3 cheaper) than their price. Still a good deal though.
I may go there next week to buy it as i wasn't able to find it cheaper than this offer plus the free papers
Will this only work for photos taken of ones self?
Ink prices on the Selphy printers were horrendous last I looked (about a month ago). Take a selfie after you experience Sticker Shock.

I have a version of this. Great if you have kids as I am always needing just one or two photos for school or for Nanna. Saves having to drive to a photo place and wait around.
However, if you need to print over 10 photos you may as well head to BigW or Hardly Normal.
I bought one of these a few months back, excellent quality and better than BigW or Harvey Norman quality, recommend if you want to print a few photos that are in high image quality, might cost more but the quality of the print is definitely higher. Good price too, I bought mine for that price but didn't come with the ink/paper.
These were great, esp with free or cheap optional batteries a few years ago. Not sure if it's still relevant today.
