To be honest this TV is a bit ugly with old school FAT bezel and only 1366 x 768 resolution, but if you just want a basic TV that is a bit bigger than the common 32" size, this is as cheap as it gets right now. This is ex-demo, so may have some marks/wear, but still comes with 12 month warranty:

  for a refurb and the low res and the obvious old fat besel to me this is not a deal, I'd rather buy something like this Which is 40 inch to boot and higher res etc.

    Unfortunately that Soniq E40W13C model is not available in stock in store or delivery. Only E40W13A is available.

      not sure why or how you would be able to say that but either case any of them would be a tonne better than this side of the curb tv.

    Agreed, but this may be ok for some who just want the cheapest price in this size. I would go for the 40" Full HD Hisense they had at Good Guys a while back, but that deal is gone.

      Yeah, was looking at Hisense 40". That previous deal was a 39" model, now no longer in stock. The new 2014 model 40K20P is a bit expensive at $596 from TGG (10% discount this weekend but still too expensive for me).

  I saw the 32" model at Big W yesterday (brand new) for $198 IIRC. Good for a kids room.

  Big W are going out of TV's so I'm assuming they just want to get rid of them.

  I got one of these from BIG W on Saturday and they are really bad, really glad i returned it the following day, the colours and contrast are all wrong, the advertised contrast ratio of 4000:1 is wrong, its actually 1,400:1
