Are you comparing same hotels though? I found it was better for me for the Macau hotel that I booked.
But only for one night, for my other stays I went to ratestogo and hotelclub.

Just checked Adelaide, found it much better than Hotelclub but only because of 10% off and $35 credit if i register another account for my gf :D

Same hotel same dated on travel pony $201US + Tax, even with 10% off and $35 credit it is still way more.
It pays to shop around.
