Just wondering if anyone knows of any drawing games or applications for windows that teach you to draw?
I have a surface pro and love drawing but I am really bad at it and I find it really annoying flicking back and forth between a drawing app and a web browser (and half screen is too small for me)
I know there are games like art academy and such on wii u/ds but don't know of anything on pc :(

Thanks scrimshaw, I had a look on steam couldn't find anything that looked like what I want unfortunately.
I've got a sketchbook express from the windows store that does the basics for me, just an all in one with tutorial drawing built in would be so much easier for me.
Make sure you install the Wacom feel drivers and get pressure sensitivity…
I think I've got it already because the pen strokes get darker the harder I press in sketchbook express :)
There's a drawing app by Microsoft called Fresh Paint. I don't know much about it or anything else though. I only have a Surface RT with a capacitive stylus and don't really spend much time drawing. Fresh Paint falls under the "entertainment" category so maybe search in there.
I have Fresh Paint too but it doesn't have any tutorials that I can find unfortunately. I'll have a look under that category though thanks :)
There are some design and illustration software on Steam. I'm not sure if there are any that comes with a 'training' mode though.

You can also try GIMP, Paint.NET and Inkscape.
Take note that drawing on a Surface Pro is very different from drawing on a graphics tablet — since you lack pressure sensitivity on the touch display your drawings will not come out as good looking as ones done on a proper Wacom.
