The 240GB drive is even cheaper than last time last month when it was $109.99 USD. Very good value.
With standard shipping (9-12 days) it's showing AUD 253.39. Not bad
Typically most people only need 256 but more will alway be better.
This model, the 480 is faster than 240.
Hence worth the added cost.

for me, a 120gb system drive and a >1TB data drive is enough. this mostly only applies to PCs (not laptops). my OS sits on the SSD, photos+music+data+etc on the HDD.
for a laptop that has a 500GB rotational disk - you really need to replace with a similar size SSD so you're not giving up anything. this is where these bargains rock. my wifes macbook has a 500gb rotational drive that is dog slow

Those who ordered this at the $219.99 USD better get onto Amazon support chat to ask about getting a partial refund of the $10 USD difference because this SSD is now $209.99 USD. I mean that's $10.80 AUD back in your pocket.
Bought it at this price a month ago. Still a great price, but the faster drives are trending down towards it.
