Isn't $19.95 the normal price at Harvey Norman?
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/hair-body-care/mens-shaving-g…

  • How much is this normally ?

  • Shaver Shop also has it on sale:
    http://www.shavershop.com.au/online-store/hair-clippers/hair…

EDIT: Actually the model no. is different.

    • Yeah that one is a 22 piece set. Although the $10 shipping kind of ruins the deal.

      • It's a better set if you have a shaver shop near you

    • great price

  • its normally around this price at harvey norman

i picked this up from harvey last year for $20. Would not recommend this set for long continuous use as it over heats after about 10-15 mins of constant running. Although in terms of cutting does an ok job but at this price not sure where the 'bargain' is.

Over heats for me too but does cut well as you said.
Better than remmington cheapys but still cheap crap worth a max $20
Carry box also not designed to be used to re store it after first use, unless your especialy good at tetris and bonsai

    • I got a $100-200 model (km2?) for my dog.

      Cuts well (without the attachments).
Overheats super easily, so hot it burnt my dog.
(Attachments would prevent burn, but then rendering the cut ineffective as hair would get caught)

Despite appearing to have a good build quality, it didn't prove to be overall. The mechanism for shuffling the blades was made of plastic, and it snapped.

  • I got this for free from the good guys when they had the $20 cash voucher in their catalogue. No problem with overheating for me. $20 is their normal price. it is a good trimmer with a good set of attachments.

I wouldn't call this "Professional". These are the cheap made in China ones. If you are looking for a real professional one, get the Wahl Super Taper.

  • 13 pos votes and rising for a Harvey Norman RRP price. There really are some intellectually challenged people on here.

    • Gave it a positive just for you!

Be proud of what you have. Even if it's not much.

    • Are you saying that most Australians are intellectually challenged when ppl buy seeing the 50% discounted prices from insanely high RRP in here. I remember a kid laptop from ToysRus $80 on half price in here. Same one in US toysrus $25 RRP but 20 was usual price. This happened few yrs back. Things have improved a bit lately but not much.

      • What are you on about… I don't even know what point you're trying to make.

  • Had cheap cutters before and they are a waste of money!!!
At least get the WAHL KM2 or SS from ebay, not cheap but last a long time .

    • See my post above re KM2. Not exactly a "long time"

      • I thought the KM2 is marketed towards pet grooming? lol.
