Super. Nice to get an app from my wishlist for free..!!!

  • Nice! Shame I recently spent $20 on Fantastical 2 to get it on iPhone & iPad…(stupid non-universal app!)

After testing this out, Fantastical has a slight advantage but this is still pretty good & combines Reminders

I think I resisted paying again for this version, and moved to other options. Will have another look. Thanks!

What does this offer over the standard iOS calendar?

    • +1

Reminders integration so you don't need to switch between apps

      • Ahh yes. I really wish Apple would integrate the calendar and reminders apps with mail alot better, for both iOS and OSX.
Does this app include estimated travel times like Apple's?

  • mmm…now I saved $8.99.

  • whats the difference between calendar 5 and calender which are both by readdle? calender by readdle is free and i have them both opened, they look the same

    • Check the in-app purchase options.

Awesome app; much better than the default iOS calendar, especially on the iPhone 4s

IT SO BEAUTIFUL THANKS! Heavily rely on calendars. Got frustrated when they announced that you have to pay for the new version when I already bought their old version at the time and that the old version cannot be updated. now it's finally for free!! THANKS!

  • It says it's free for 48 hours. So don't dawdle :P

  • Thanks OP

Still prefer WeekCal though, although this is very good for free

Really good looking app and simple to add appointments or tasks. Thanks OP!

  • WeekCal, imo , is not as good as Calendars 5 , as it does not have a to-do built into to its App. I purchased this App and believe it is the best Calendar I have used, as it syncs with Google calendar at work and home.

  • Anyone else have all their reminders and notes disappear from the standard apple apps after installing this?

    -edit-

It turned out that somehow sync Notes and sync Reminders had been turned off under settings > iCloud.
