Humble Bundle - 14 Days of Bundles! 24 Hours Each Bundle

1560

Humble Bundle are doing 14 days straight of bundles!

So far it looks like they may be re-bundles, which is perfect for anyone who missed them, or for gifting. Potentially they may have new ones.

As per usual, $1 USD minimum for the base games, and then beat the average to unlock the others. So get some cheap games and help charity.

  • To get riptide or not to get riptide? That is the question.

    • +1

I got it seeing as it was only like $3 more

    • +2

      Not worth the $3, IMO.

  • +2

Deep Silver bundle worth for SR2 and SR3. Highly recommend.

  • Can you gift off the games you already have?

    • Yeah, I think each game comes with a steam ID if you paid enough for it. I have gifted some games to my friends before.

      • Thanks mate.

      • +6

I bought this bundle (but didn't get Riptide) - it came as 3 separate steam keys:
        1. Risen 2: Dark Waters, Sacred 2: Gold Edition, Saints Row 2, and Saints Row: The Third
        2. Dead Island GOTY and Saints Row: The Third - The Full DLC Package
        3. Metro 2033, Risen, and Sacred Citadel

I presume Riptide would get its own separate key.

Far as I can tell, for each of those keys you can either gift or redeem.

        • +1

So you do get naked Steams keys, not their new system where you can only gift links that require Steam linking?

        • +1

I can confirm that Riptide gets its own key.

        • +2

@Thaal you do not get naked steam keys - you either link your Steam account to your Humble Bundle one, and redeem the license for yourself, or you click a 'gift' icon and get a URL to send to a buddy.

I haven't tried gifting any yet, but I believe it works like this:
          http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/135…

        • +1

They ended the naked stream keys ages ago. You can still gift, but it's from within their interface now.

        • Thank you for confirming people. I guess this is to stop key resellers. From the comment by Supermatty it sounded as if you actually got the raw keys to copy and paste into the Steam activation dialogue.

        • From the comment by Supermatty it sounded as if you actually got the raw keys

That hasn't happened since about December last year. Most of the recent bundles require you to log into Steam. Though when I got Metro Last Light via HB last weekend, I did get a raw key.

  • Thanks OP

  • By the wording it appears to be a reissue of previous bundles. Don't mind that, there are a few I have missed I wanted

  • any good multiplayer titles?

  • +2

i bought a few 1$ bundles to give my friends :)

    Finally! I'm hoping for:
The Humble Double Fine Bundle or Humble Weekly Sale: Double Fine
    Humble Weekly Sale: SEGA

Here's a list of all their bundles:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Humble_Bundles

    • thanks for the list, i know which ones to look out for now

  • Oh good. I did miss a few bundles, but one of them was very recently.

  • +5

Finally! They've come to their senses and brought back proper gaming bundles, not these half-baked Indie/E-Book/Music offerings they've been doing so much lately.

    • Plus one.

    • +1

i'd rather a shitty ebook bundle, compared to what they used to have.
which was a message saying 'humble bundle is taking a break, we'll be back soon'

  • I wish they has something that included the New origin games like battlefield 4 or Fifa4…. But then these games are still too expensive on the actual market

  • So, looks like 14 days of me buying games, woo!

  • ok $1 lol ^^ thats enough for me.. i deserve to not pay above the average once in a while.

  • +2

on the 3rd day of Humble Bundle, Gabe Newell sent to me,

    Three Left 4 Dead 3,
    Two Half Life 3,
    And a Portal in a pear 3…

  • what time do these come out Aest?

    • +1

I think 4am? Early hours in morn, anyway

      • Yep, 4am AEST (UTC+10).

  • Sweet, looking forward to see if the WB bundle comes back =)

  • thanks for keeping track too !

  • Awesome deal thanks, almost got the Deep Silver bundle, but just for the Saints Row 3rd DLC's,as I dont have any of them,as I just got the basic DS pack last time.

Kinda regret not getting it now, since even buying a few DLC's easily cost more than $6…

    cheers,

  • Any good online multi player fps in the list?

  • In my excitement for indie games I purchased today's bundle beating the average only to find I already had all but 2 of them games, haha. This is the problem with having too many bundle purchases in the past.

    • Cant you give away steam codes?

      • Indeed, they all seem to be individual keys which is great! I'll be gifting them to my gf who loves indie games.

  • Go to www.humblebundle.com/home and check before you buy. Maybe you already bought Humble Bundle 8.

  • Fancy seeing oil rush there coming from a company that sells its 3D ugine engine software for ~ 3K per title you release, with no educational or home brew licensing.

  • so far not that great

    • Yeah but with it going for 14 days I was never expecting anything much until perhaps the last few days.

  • +5

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/legomarvelsuperheroes_s… Lego Marvel for 5bucks! Think amazon cheapest has been 10

    • Nice! Scribblenauts Unmasked is also $5.

  • +2

By the time most people wake up to see today's bundle, the average will be the same price as the $8 tier.

    • The only bundle I've seen worth getting so far is the Indie Bundle 8 with Thomas Was Alone. Hopefully it picks up towards the end.

      • Hopefully it picks up :)I still have faith, even though its nearly half way through =/

        • Yeah I'm really hoping they bring the origin and/or the Warner bundles. They sold so many of those bundles.

  • +4

Sorry Humble Bundle but you lose today. If anyone wants Vanguard Princess for cheap instead of paying whatever the current average is, head over to the deal I just posted for Indie Gala.

  • +4

lol, 1 or 2 games is what means a humble bundle thesedays? /sadface.jpg

    • yeah terrible today :(

  • Crusader Kings today. Finally a good bundle. Very tempted to get the DLC's since I've heard they're pretty good but at $25 it's not quite so cheap.

  • Anyone playing Strike Vector ?

Vids, gameplay & reviews look decent.. Anyone recommend it ?

    • +1

I honestly have never played 99% of these games haha :)

  • A plus for keeping the thread updated.

    • +1

Thanks for updating the post. Hope they're saving the best for last.

      • Unfortunately, the last bundle didn't blow my mind like I wanted it to :(

  • +5

Heh, I didn't end up getting a single bundle.

    • I bought the last bundle for AUD $0.02 (or USD $0.01). I thought it might have some good wallpapers because I've just started playing Total War games and the description has an image of a awesome ship. The images don't make great wallpapers and none of them contain a ship—mostly soldiers.

UPDATE: It does have the ship image. It's 2200x1415 and makes a good wallpaper when zoomed in on a 1920x1080 screen. Worth two cents after all.

    • I only bought 2 bundles (4 & 5) at $1 each for myself :(
