  • How does this compare to previous deals?

    • These are all fresh roasted single origins but just enabling people to have a bit more variety and try some different coffees from various countries.

The Ethiopia Sidamo is a great new washed coffee and the Kenya Kagamoini is one that we don't usually offer due to price point.

    • It's a little more expensive per kg, but not much. There's some nice looking beans in there though. And locally I'd be paying $14-$20 per bag for similar stuff.

      • Yes, these kind of deals are quite labour intensive due to weighing and packing etc. Also some of the coffees are more expensive including the additional cost incurred due to the extra valved bags needed to fulfill orders :-)

      • Yes, you'd be paying that much for 250g (if not 200g), but these are 280g, so you'd be able to pull a couple more double shots per bag.

  • Cool just to my last 2 bags. Needed another fix of hot goodness. Which one is your personal favorite among the listed?

My favourites from last my last order was Costa Rica Finca La Union, Honduras Minas de Oro and Colombia Tolima Late Harvest. The only reason I still get to work on time :)

    • Haha, yes I can't function without a coffee first thing either.

Good choices of coffee, I'm a fan of the Costa Rica La Union as well and the Honduras coffees seem to be pretty popular.

The Ethiopia Sidamo I haven't tried as it only arrived this morning but I have 2 other Sidamo which are fantastic as a pour over. The Don Mayo is a great espresso, Kenya Kagamoini great strength typical of Kenyans

  • Hey Rep, I just ordered this - 1x 980g & 2x 480g Bags Fresh Roasted Coffee for $59.95. Any chance of throwing in a small sample of the geisha beans? :)

    • Don't think I have any roasted but I'll double check tomorrow. If I have it I'll send but can't promise anything.

      • Thanks Rep, just got email from AusPOst saying its ready for despatch. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

  • Great timing, cheers!

  • Hi Rep, I just ordered this. Just wondering if I should be receiving an email other than the paypal receipt email to confirm the purchase?

    • Thanks for your order. After PayPal confirmation of purchase you should next receive a tracking number and confirmation once the order is dispatched.

      • Thanks Rep, good to know!

  • Hi Simon, do you think these varieties can be roasted to satisfy my espresso needs?

By the way, already finished my two packs of Yemen beans and really satisfied with the taste. Just one question,
what's the difference between Yemen Sanani Mocca and Yemen Matari (spelling might be incorrect) in terms of taste.

    • Hi,

There are a couple like the Don Mayo and Kagamoini which I am roasting slightly darker and the Don Mayo especially is great for espresso.

Unfortunately we have to roast in bigger batches to make these deals viable so am unable to roast to specific requirements on an individual basis unless ordered and specified through the standard website pricing.

The Sanani Mocca we had last year and the Mocca Matari is the only one we can get this year. It is in my opinion a better cup and does have very similar characteristics to the sanani. Both have great intensity and spicy characteristics through them and work well as an espresso

      • Thanks Simon, good to go I think. Do you still have Yemen Matari in stock? I might add some with this order.

        • Certainly do, I have about 20kg left ;-)

  • Great timing as last time. Thanks.
