  • Great game, great price.

Great game, however it's been much cheaper in sales in the past:

Unless you're desperate for it now I'd wait until at least 66% off.

    • actually if this one comes with free expansion, so it might be worth the couple dollars more.

All versions come with the free expansion. Even if you bought it for $2.50 a year ago you get access to the expansion.

        • but now it is worth more, more work value has been put into it.

        • yes. my point is, for people who doesn't have ftl yet, the expansion makes it worth that few $ more. i think the ftl team deserves the support more than the drones at EA.

        • FWIW, I bought it for the full $10 about 1 minute after it was released, but this is OzBargain after all, hence my recommendation to wait.

  • Wicked price.

  • may have been cheaper but still worth it, I've put 296 hours in this game and still play it regularly, bought it for either $6.66 or $7.50. IMO definitely worth it, great content though some is luck based (e.g. unlocking crystal ship but easier with rock ship). Expansion is awesome, new features in all parts of the game (new ships, weapons, sector, alien, etc). Also I know there is some great mods out there if that's your thing, just search it on Google.

  • Amazing game. I keep coming back to it time and time again.

  • I'd pay full price for thi s game if I didn't get it from a deal I posted ages ago. Epic game.

  • DRM Free, I thought this was a Steam only game. I've never bought from Humble Bundle, how do you get the DRM version?

    • Buy it, click download. Done.

      • Is the download from Humble Bundle or do we get re-directed to the developers web site?

        • Direct from Humble Bundle.

It's actually the reverse of what you said - the developer's web site uses humble's store to sell the game.

        • So Humble Bundle are basically like GoG, you buy the game and download an installer package. After that no connection is required? I know these questions appear stupid, but I don't want to spend huge amounts of time checking their FAQ's and not getting an answer. I've had someone tell me these exact words about Steam: "It's DRM Free! Buy the game, download from Steam, play any-time, anywhere!"

Edit: Actually, doesn't matter as it's on GoG and I seem to own it already :)

        • Yes, you can download an installer direct from Humble, but they do also provide Steam keys if you prefer that (for games that are actually on Steam).

        • Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Might have to look at Humble a little closer.

I've paid $20 so far on this game. Full price PC, full price iPad. Worth every cent.

  • FWIW, it's 66% off making it $3.39 USD at GOG atm (~600 copies left).
