I openned Complete Freedom Student account before 30/03/2014 and complete more than 10 contactless transaction on the linked debit card. However I still haven't got $50 reward credited to my account directly by 08/05/2014 as stated in terms and conditions. Does anyone have the same problem?

I called up today and they tried to give me the run around, saying that had to make 10 transaction in a month's period despite no mention of that on The brochure, website or from the person who signed me up. They then told me that I had to go into a local branch so they can call up head office to sort it out… Which brings to the present.
Branch has no idea what is going on. Needless to say I'm never dealing with St George for anything ever again.
Time to change your bank. It is ridiculous for a well resourced institution like banks not to know their own promotions. I wouldn't let any institution of that sort handle my hard earned money.
I got an sms reminding me to make 10 transactions before 30/04/2014 to qualify for the reward. Thus whatever they are telling about making 10 transactions within a month period is just an excuse.
I sent an email to them asking about the $50 reward 2 days ago but no response yet. Also OP from the original post hasn't answered me yet. Actually, it's more like he hasn't logged on for months.
By the way, does anyone know why the comment of the original post is closed?
HI, I work for St George and I came accross your post. Sorry to hear about the delay and I have been told all eligable customers should have their account credited by close of business Thursday May 15th 2014. I hope this helps.
