these were selling for $269 plus 22% premium on grays in Feb,
    http://www.graysonline.com/lot/0001-3800061/appliances-and-w…

    • The link you posted for the reviews is for a different model. This is the correct model: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/omega-odw717xb-odw717wb.ht…

    • The link you just posted to Grays was an auction for 1 (!) water damaged unit…

      • "The carton/box has slight water damage, the item inside the box is new"

Suggest you try harder if you want to sell your products.

Pretty major lol that the rep is selling carton damaged stock but warning against other carton damaged items.

        • +2

Big difference between insurance claim stock with water damage and 30 day dead on arrival warranty to our carton damaged stock with a normal 2 year manufacturer warranty…

  • I don't get why anyone buys damaged carton stock.

Implies that item was mishandled, so contents could be of suspect quality.

    • Because they actually believe that the discount is because the cardboard box has a small tear in it. Compared to someone with common sense or has seen what happens behind the scenes who knows it's been dropped by a forklift or fallen off the truck, but there's no visible damage on the outside of the unit.

      • And yet it still has a warranty so if there is something actually wrong with it you can return it…I for one don't care if a TV in the foam packaging has been dropped if it still works fine, better to get a discount because the fall damaged the box than to get no discount because the way it fell left no visible damage to the box.

Surely people buy them to save money - exactly like this deal !

"Mishandling" and "suspect quality" is irrelevent when the unit comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.

  • If you can accept slight damages like scratch/dent on the dishwasher, Graysonline offers better price and choices. I got one new Smeg dishwasher for $3xx and works well, it was discontinued and it came with manufacturer warranty and third party extended warranty if you need.
