    I think $3.49 USD for a 3W equivalent recently was a better deal

    Though this looks decent for those wanting a brighter version. I bought mine for a toddlers night light so 3W was ideal for me but this 5W will put out better light.

      Site says free shipping option is 7 - 15 days. That sounds faster than DX, so seems OK.

    I thought that most of Australian light fittings are still using the bayonet type of light bulb?

    It does not look like this bulb carries the required Safety Certification for use in Australia. Perhaps the Rep could advise?

      Plenty of ES around. I just bought a house built in 2007 and there's not a single bayonet fitting in the house at all. It's all downlights and Edison fittings.

        So, it is older places that have all the bayonet fittings?

        I noticed that in the recent LED bulbs sale at Aldi it was the ES bulbs that were left over. All the bayonet ones sold out first.

      This is a decorative lamp. Many decorative lamps, or feature lights, introduce an American ES LED bulb holder.

      Google, bc to es adaptor, and you could have either Type.
